The Hearing must make sure it’s clear what help and support is set out for a child’s family within the Child’s Plan, including for:
- foster families,
- kinship families, and
- prospective adoptive families.
The Child’s Plan must also be clear about its expectation of the implementing authority and multi-agency partners. It should include any financial support a family may need to receive to:
- maintain contact arrangements, or
- mitigate against any changes in income when a child is no longer living at home— including to benefits.
