Part of: Recommendations
When a child has been subject to compulsory measures of supervision for more than two years, there must be a mechanism for the Children’s Hearing to identify this.
After it does, there should be an in-depth review to determine:
- whether this is in the best interests of the child, or
- whether alternative, longer-term arrangements should be made.
This review should include scrutiny of how effective the Child’s Plan is.
