In certain ways, a child and family’s experience at Court should align as much as possible with the experience at a Hearing.

Part of: Recommendations
A child and family’s experience at Court should align as much as possible with the experience at a Hearing, in terms of:
- the physical environment and,
- the expected conduct of an inquisitorial approach.
Wherever possible, there should be a consistent Sheriff throughout the process. This Sheriff should be specially trained and skilled.
