Sometimes, families have more than one child engaged with child protection. When this happens, care and support systems – including the Children's Hearings System – must be more:
- connected, and
- streamlined.
Sometimes, a child whose brother or sister is engaged with in the Children's Hearings System may also have a Hearing themselves. When it's possible and appropriate, their Hearings should have the same Chair.
