Questions you might have around joining the Design School
Can care experienced young people join the Design School?
The Promise Design School can support care experienced young people and those who support them to develop skills in service design.
If you are part of a group in your local area, you can reach out to the Promise Design School to request support tailored to your group.
We can help you:
- explore how design thinking skills can help you to develop and share your ideas, and
- bring decision makers together around the things you care about to design new ways of working.
Do I need any qualifications to join the Design School?
No , but:
- you need to be actively helping Scotland to #KeepThePromise, and
- you need to be able to demonstrate your passion for doing this.
Do I need to live in Scotland to join the Design School?
Yes.
Will I get a qualification on completing my Design School work?
No. For now, the Design School is not accredited, but The Promise Scotland is exploring changing this.
