If you want to complain about how the promise isn’t being kept for you, you can find out how to do so here.

Make a complaint

The Promise Scotland strives to treat everyone with dignity, respect and courtesy— and without discrimination. Where the organisation or its employees have failed to do this, members of the public should be free to raise concerns and make complaints. These should be dealt with quickly and appropriately. By completing it, you will help us to investigate and respond to your complaint quickly and thoroughly.

Please give details of the person, team or issue you want to complain about. If you’re complaining about a person, include their job title if you know it. Please provide as much information as you can, including:

  • the date, time and details of an incident, if relevant, and
  • any evidence that supports your complaint.
Please also explain how you think we can resolve the matter.

The Promise Scotland processes your personal information in accordance with its privacy policy, which you can find here. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours of receiving it. The timeline for responding to complaints will vary according to the nature of the issue. A timescale will be given to you in the acknowledgment email.

I understand and accept that the details of this complaint will normally be made available during the investigation to the person or team that may be the subject of the complaint.
