New home page for Plan 24-30

Plan 24-30 – Scotland’s online plan to keep the promise – has been updated to make navigation clearer. 

Plan 24-30 has two main parts, which are connected: the route maps, and the Promise Story of Progress. These are now easier to find and navigate from across the site, with a new static banner which runs across all pages. 

The banner also has links to pages including Meeting in the Middle, News, Downloads, About, and FAQs. 

Plan 24-30’s home page has also been simplified to improve navigation. 

New search functions

To help people to use the site, there are also two new search functions:

• Search by topic— If you're interested in a particular topic - such as disability, foster care or the early years - this tool can help you by pulling together key Route Maps and parts of The Promise Story of Progress which are linked to it. 

• Search by organisation— You can use this tool to find every route map which a particular organisation has responsibilities around.

All changes are now live, with more work to follow later in 2026 and early in 2027— to ensure the plan is as clear and easy to use as it can be, to help people to keep the promise.
