The Promise Scotland has written to the Scottish Parliament’s Health and Social Care Committee to highlight research it commissioned around proposals for a National Care Service.
The research is intended to establish how these proposals will affect implementation of the Independent Care Review’s conclusions.
Through analysing the 1,095 published responses from the Scottish Government’s consultation, it found there was not currently enough information to reach a view on the impact and value of a National Care Service for children and families.
