Changes are in motion to keep the promise
Since the promise was made, there have been a huge number of positive changes across Scotland to improve the lives of children and young people in – and on the edge of – the ‘care system’.
There has also been a lot of learning on what hasn’t worked, or what has been more challenging.
Accelerating the process of change
The closer Scotland gets to 2030, the more the pace and scale of change needs to be increased, so changes are felt in the lives of all care experienced children and young people.
Learning from what has worked, what hasn’t and finding inspiration in what has been achieved will be key in doing this.
